Workshops — Schedule a Workshop for your School, Office or Organization
Each workshop given by Dr. Metzger is unique and hands-on. We tend to keep them small, if possible, to allow for personal interaction between participants and the doctor. Workshops and in-services can be given to as few as five or as many as 50 attendees. They typically last about an hour and a half. The time can be adjusted based on the group’s needs. Also, some attendees may earn continuing education credits for their attendance.
The topics below can be emphasized for any workshop. Each topic has a connection to vision problems and the affect they can have on daily life for children and adults. Each subject may be covered during a workshop in various ways.
- ADD/ADHD
- Autism
- Behavior Problems
- Developmental Delay
- Dyslexia/Reading Delay
- Dyslexia/Reversals
- Enhanced sports performance
- Infant Vision
- Lazy/Crossed Eye
- Learning Problems
- Preschool vision
- Traumatic Injury
Lastly, our workshops are interactive. We supply a vision testing kit to each participant and demonstrate the tests with one another. We promise everyone attending will find the information valuable and will consider the workshop time well spent. Contact us to schedule a workshop or in-service at your location.
